However, Newgistics will work with the merchant to answer. Due to privacy policies and contractual obligations as a standard mail shipping provider, Newgistics must refer consumers with questions or concerns back to the merchant. The tracking info backs up my claim that I was late, and the phone sat in the return center for a month before they mailed it back to me. Specialties: Please note, inquiries and concerns regarding the status of a package should be addressed by the merchant with whom you have a direct relationship. I received the old phone that I mailed on Sept 26, 2018, with a letter from ATT saying that since they didn't receive my phone by the trade in due date, just keep it. I told her this was the only way to track it. She finally googled Newgistics package tracking and enter the tracking number and it showed everything, locations, scans, dates, and time. She tried to track my return, but it wouldn't work. I asked to speak with a supervisor and actually got connected to one. The issue was resolved today, they credited my account $774.80 the amount of the old cell phone. I'm putting this here in the hopes someone from ATT with some common sense sees it. I can track my return with no problem, the employee at the ATT store can track my return with no problems. I tried to get customer services to do this and all they were not allowed to track packages unless it on a preapprove website. The only problem ATT cannot track the packages handled by Newgistics unless they run the tracking number through Newgistics package tracking website. Newgistics is a delivery company contracted by ATT to handle shipping returns of cell phones. I believe this issue was caused by the shipping label from Newgistics called a Smart Label. Now I afraid to upgrade my other line, I will not upgrade or do anything until this issue is resolved. I have two phones on my account and was about to upgrade the other phone when this happened. I have an active case with a case number. I called customer service today Dec 5, 2018, they were unable to tell me what the package contains and I would just have to wait and see. I have a funny feeling this is my old cell phone. Today Dec 5, 2018, I received a text from UPS saying I have a 2 day Air package scheduled to be delivered at my home Dec 6, 2018, fromĪTT Mobility Forth Worth, Tx USA. The two that were able to track my phone said they would take care of the problem. USPS Tracking 9400 1000 0000 0000 0000 00. I gave the tracking number to at least 7 ATT employees, only 2 were able to track my cell phone. I have driven 4 hours, spent about 20 hours on the phone with ATT customer service over a 4 day period. I checked the tracking number and tracked my return, it said delivered to return center Oct 4, 2018, at 6 pm Fort Worth Texas 76177. This month I checked my bill and there was a charge for not returning my old phone. i have tried almost everything but it seems that i will be forced to pay for a defective phone that i DO NOT have.ĭo i have a case here? Is there any where i can report AT&T for this because i KNOW im not the only one with this problem. On I received my new iPhone Xsm Max, I traded my old from in using the ATT Next plan. i contact AT&T again and they tell me they don't have the phone when the last person i spoke to said they did. I had chatted with an AT&T CSR online and she had told me that they recieved the device and she will file a case so that i will be credited $706 to my account but nothing has happened. Newgistics tracking number keeps saying there is no tracking number for the values and i am being charged $706 and my service has been suspended. Weeks later the package is no where to be found. I could not get a receipt for dropping it off because the USPS post office said they didnt give them out but i didnt worry because i had a Newgistics tracking number and thought that'd be fine and i was dead wrong. I replaced my defective Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and had sent it in the mail and followed the instructions to the letter to return the device back to AT&T. I am being billed $706 for failing to return a defective device.
